Official DART training is coming to Tallahassee!

Big Bend DART and the Humane Society of the US will be offering the 22-hour DART training on May 20-22, 2011. The location in Tallahassee will be the new Red Cross building at 1115 Easterwood Drive. To register, go to hsus.org/disaster services/training. More information will be posted in January 2011.

   

 

Our Mission is:

To assist with evacuation, care, rescue, retrieval and subsequent safe return of animals displaced by natural and man-made disasters

To operate a pet-friendly shelter for the Red Cross and other agencies and organizations during disasters and evacuations

To promote education, safety, and disaster planning assistance to animal owners and animal welfare agencies
